Hot Water Heat Pumps use electrical energy to move the heat and therefore don’t actually generate the heat. This makes heat pump systems far more energy-efficient than gas water heaters or other traditional electric heating systems.
Heat pump water heaters use energy from the outdoor air or ground to heat water, which is stored in an insulated hot water tank. The outside air gets heated up by energy from the sun all year round. So even when the sun is not shining brightly, or it is the middle of winter, there is still solar heat energy in the air that is available for use.
Sustainable energy is the way of the future, so it’s great to know that your power bill will be good for the environment and won’t break the bank at the same time.
For as long as Certified Building Projects has been in business in Auckland we have partnered with Quix for all our plumbing, drainage and gas requirements. If you’re looking for a company where you can access the owners for problem solving, support staff to assist with day to day bookings and staff on the ground that communicate and deliver, Quix are at the front of the queue.
Cameron Bell, Certified Building Projects Limited - Director
We commenced working with the 'Quix' team in late 2018 and the relationship has only strengthened since then. In the building game, trades and suppliers need to deliver what they say they will, on time, and to specification, and the 'Quix' team do just that. One of the real strengths of 'Quix' is the business leaderships knowledge and experience, and their solution based approach to any challenges. There is very little that they haven't experienced in plumbing and external drainage.
